A fine mix of warm hospitality, rich culture, and everyday street-life, Vietnam is where your days begin with a cup of coffee and end with lantern-lit streets. Rich history, mesmerising landscape, beautiful architecture, delicious street food - Vietnam has a lot to offer the curious.

Join Poets And Pilgrims on an 7-day backpacking adventure where we explore parts of central Vietnam on a budget. This itinerary includes the towns of Da Nang, Hoi An, and Huế. We will go for a hike to connect with nature, hop on a scooter or bicycle and explore the countryside, indulge in diverse street food options, and visit important sites.

Additionally, the theme of this trip is focused on coffee, pottery, and boat rides. You will be treated with Vietnamese coffee every day! At Hoi An pottery village, you will get your hands on clay. We will also be sailing on the Hoi An river - once with a coconut boat and also with a lantern boat. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

Like all Poets And Pilgrims travel experiences, this trip is designed to be slow and experiential. No rushing between places, no tourist cliches, no bucketlist urgency. Take your time, immerse yourself in what attracts your attention, and enjoy the moment. To keep things in budget, we will stay in homestays / dormitories and travel by public transport. Small family-run diners and street food joints will be our go-to places to eat.

This trip is for those who have limited time and budget but want to truly experience the life in Vietnam. We also suggest you checkout our 11-day Vietnam trip - Coffee, Caves, and Countryside.
